40th Anniversary Trim Package
All 2004 Mustangs came with the 40th Anniversary badges on their fenders. There was also a 40th Anniversary trim package which could be applied to the V6 or GT models. But only in the paint colors of Crimson Red, Black, or Oxford White. Additional 40th Anniversary Package features include: Arizona Beige (silver) dual hood and trunk stripes; matching rocker stripes; upgraded wheels; and a deluxe parchment interior with painted center console surrounds, metallic gray shifter bezel and door lock knobs, shift boot trim, and brushed aluminum pedals. The Crimson Red paint was exclusive to the 40th Anniversary Package.

This is a Screaming Yellow 2004 Mach 1 40th Anniversary Edition Mustang coupe. Yes, 40 years before this model was the first Mustang Ford produced. This baby has the special 305hp 4.6 liter Dual Overhead Cam V8 engine only offered in the Mach 1 Mustang!

2004, Black, 40th Anniversary Trim Package, convertible
Black 2004 Mustang convertible 40th anniversary edition owned by Claude Alphonse Mayhew from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It's a triple black mustang - black paint, black interior, and black soft top. Claude adds, "I bought the car a year ago and I'm just loving it. Worth every penny I paid for it."

This Crimson Red 2004 Mustang GT coupe use to be owned by Steven Reiser. This Mustang as the 4.6L SOHC stock engine. Steven tells us more, "I traded in my 1992 Ford Mustang GT for this Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Crimson Red with Beige striping Premium Package 2004 Mustang GT. I just bought it in February 2008 below Kelley Blue Book trade-in price. No Mods yet, but planning a 9 psi Kenne Bell 2.1L Twin Screw Supercharger to go from 260 to about 435 RWHP. Crimson Red with Beige Racing Stripes was the official Limited Edition Package with only 4,000 of these made." Steve now owns a Redfire 2004 Mustang Cobra coupe shown on this site.

2004, Azure Blue, 40th Anniversary Trim Package, pillar/post
Azure Blue 40th Anniversary Edition Mach-1 Mustang coupe with a black interior, 4.6L DOHC V8 engine, and a manual transmission. This paint color was only available on the Mach-1 in 2004.

2004, Crimson Red, 40th Anniversary Trim Package, convertible
Crimson Red 2004 Roush 380R Mustang 40th Anniversary Limited Edition GT convertible with a tan top and tan interior. Under the hood is a supercharged 4.6 liter SOHC with intercooler that pumps out 379hp at 5250 rpm and 380ft-lbs of torque at 3000rpm. This color paint in only available on the 40th Anniversary Limited Editions for 2004.

Crimson Red was exclusive to this special 40th anniversary Mustang but also came in, Black, or Oxford White.
